Recreation in Montenegro on the Adriatic Sea includes gentle sunshine, warm sea, and cosy beaches.
Those unsatisfied with endless lying on the beach can also find more active entertainment. Extreme sports, daredevil experiments, and recreation with an adrenaline rush can be found on almost all organised beaches in Montenegro. Budva, Bar, Petrovac Przno, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Ulcinj - in each of these beach towns, companies offer various active recreation services.
One of the most exciting and popular entertainment offers for holidaymakers on the Adriatic coast is the flight with a parachute pulled by a speedboat. Almost everyone has been dreaming of parachuting since childhood. Everyone wants to experience the flight, to feel an incredible sense of freedom and happiness. But not everyone can fulfil this dream because of health problems, fears, or other reasons. Flying with a parachute attached to a boat is a great way to realise your dream. Of course, it is difficult to call this type of entertainment completely safe, but the risk is ten times lower than flying with an actual parachute.
Flights with a parachute pulled by a speedboat (otherwise, this sport is called parasailing) have recently become very popular in Montenegro. It is pretty short and not a cheap attraction, but it gives you emotions and memories that will stay with you all your life! You will experience unforgettable emotions as you climb to the heights. Breathtaking views of the surroundings for many kilometres around will open in front of you, and you will feel дшлу conqueror of height and space.
If you forget about fear, you still have the heart to fly over the sea, so remember some tips. Remember that the parasail ride (so-called special parachutes) must be done only with a circular or oval canopy. The circular canopy is considered the safest. There are different ways to take to the skies with a parasail: from the shore, platform, or boat. The best way is to do it from a ship. Flying from the coast is quite dangerous.
To ensure that parasailing leaves only pleasant memories, please observe the following rules:
- A boat intended for this attraction must be suitable for water skiing. The desirable speed is 50-60 km/h, and the power of the cable is 100 hp. Do not hesitate to ask the flight organisers about the technical characteristics because it concerns your safety.
- The maximum weight that the parachute can lift is 180-200 kg.
- The coastal and water surface should be free of obstacles like trees, rocks, metal, or buildings.
- The flight should be organised by an experienced team of at least three people: a Boatman, an organiser, and an Assistant.
- Launching should be against the wind. It is not possible to "fly" in strong wind, which is a maximum of 8 m/s.
- Before the flight, you should receive a detailed briefing. Listen carefully. The briefing will describe how you should behave if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- There are some contraindications to flying. If you have recently suffered an injury, feel ill, are pregnant, or have a severe chronic illness, you should not risk your health. Flying is prohibited in a state of drunkenness.
Nothing compares to the feeling of flying... Try it, and this exciting game will not leave you indifferent!
